Clallam County Board of Commissioners has opted to skip two key meetings this week.

The regularly scheduled work session set for Monday, May 4, 2026, will not take place.

In addition, the board’s standard Tuesday business meeting—now anticipated for 10 a.m., May 5, 2026—has also been called off.

No formal explanation was issued for the cancellations, though internal sources indicated planning adjustments and overlapping priorities contributed to the decision.

Earlier reporting noted similar adjustments during past months, when the board occasionally merged agendas or moved items to future sessions to accommodate staff availability and emerging policy developments.

The next confirmed meeting remains the June work session, with business and budget discussions expected to take center stage.
